Since opening its doors in 2007, Readers has firmly established itself as Jordan’s leading bookstore. The bookshop offers an extensive array of books across numerous genres, including a wealth of Arabic and English fiction and non-fiction titles for bookworms of all ages.

With its goal of supporting and amplifying local culture, Readers regularly features and promotes the Kingdom’s wealth of literary talent through a series of in-store book signings, readings, and events. The bookshop also hosts a number of fun, engaging activities designed to cultivate a lifelong passion for reading and writing – particularly among local youth. In 2014, Readers took this commitment a step further, launching the Readers Prize for Gifted Young Writers, an annual writing competition that inspires young Jordanians to exercise their creative muscles and develop their literary skills.
